Lamborghini is an Italian brand that specializes in manufacturing SUV’s, sports car and super luxury cars. Its production facility is headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Volkswagen owns Lamborghini through its subsidiary Audi. In 1963 Ferruccio Lamborghini founded Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.p.A. The intention was to compete with established rivals including Ferrari. This company has always been a step ahead in providing excellence and better services.
Most of the engines used in Lamborghini Cars are V12 engines. Their most successful models are Huracan and Aventador. Furthermore, the Aventador uses V12 powered engine whereas Huracan uses a V10 engine. In the early 1960’s the first ever Lamborghini car 350 GT was introduced. The 350 GT was privileged because of its comfort, refinement and power. In the 1966 due to its Miura sports coupe, company was well acclaimed for producing sports cars. In addition, their distinguishable feature was the luxurious looks. During first 10 years of empowerment, their sales grew rapidly. In 1973’s due to worldwide financial downturn and oil crisis, the sales dropped drastically. Because of crisis, Ferruccio Lamborghini was bounded to sale its ownership. Consequently the 1974 owner ship was sold to Georges Henri Rossetti, Rene Leimer and retired.

History of Lamborghini Company
Since their inception, Italian sports car manufacture company had to deal with a lot of crisis. Which also resulted in transfer of ownership after every few years. In 1980 the ownership was transferred to brothers Jean-Claude and Patrick Mimran. This step was taken in shade of bankruptcy. Furthermore, the Mimran’s invested a large amount of money in the company and introduced two major models Countach and Jalpa. They also introduced the off road vehicle called LM002. Again the Mimran’s sold the company to Chrysler Corporation in 1987. The Chrysler Corporation discontinued the production of Jalpa and LM002. The Chrysler’s also replaced Countach with the Diablo. After being sold to Chrysler Corporation, the Company was then sold to a Malaysian Investment group in 1994. In the 1998 it was again sold to Volkswagen group and came under the control of Audi Division.
Lamborghini an Italian based sports car manufacturer has always been a step ahead to amaze its customers with producing best sports car. Aventador is a mid-engine sports car firstly unveiled on the Geneva Motor Show 2011. The milestone was achieved by March 2016 when 5000 Aventador units were sold. After the unveiling of the first Aventador the company announced that 12 production vehicles have already been sold. And the deliveries will be conducted in the second half of 2011.
The company planned to build 4000 models of Aventador but ended up achieving its milestone in 2016. After making about 5000 units of The Aventador. The Aventador costs about Three hundred and Ninety-Three Thousand Dollars (US$393000). The ultimate Lamborghini Aventador used a 6.5 liter V12 Engine that produces a high power of 690 bhp. The company claims that Aventador Car has the top speed of 345 Km/h (220 mph). But as measured by the Sport Auto Magazine Aventador tops at 370 Km/h (230 mph).

The Gallardo is manufactured by well known sports car manufacturer as can be known from its name Lamborghini Gallardo. These cars never fail to amaze with their ultra powerful engines and their eye attracting body shape. The tenure for the manufacturing of Gallardo was from the year 2003-2013. In the 10 years of its production about 14022 units were manufactured. Gallardo is the best selling model of Lamborghini cars. The model is named after the famous breed of fighting bulls. The last Gallardo was produced on 25 November, 2013.
It comes with two types of engine. The first generation Lamborghini Gallardo comes with 5.0 liters V10 engine. And the second generation Gallardo has a 5.2 liters V10 engine. With the help of its V10 engine that ultimate Gallardo produces power of 570 PS (562 hp).The car has a net weight of 1340 Kg. Carbon Fiber is used in most of the sports Car to reduce its weight. Similarly in the Gallardo model extensive amount of carbon fiber is used both inside and outside. This step is taken to reduce its weight. The car under discussion is lightest of all road-going Lamborghini Cars in the range.
Some special and limited edition Gallardo units were made especially for Italian police and London Metropolitan Police. In honor of Italian Force’s 152 anniversary, in December 2004, two units were gifted to the force. One was given by Lamborghini Cars Company itself and one was donated from an independent organization.
The Huracan is the successor of the Gallardo: one of the most produced model of Lamborghini Cars. The Lamborghini Huracan was first introduced to general public at the March 2014 Geneva Auto Show. The units of Huracan were listed for sale in second quarter of 2014. Top Gear Magazine named the Huracan “The Supercar of the Year 2014”. Most of the Lamborghini Cars are named after the famous Spanish Fighting bulls. Similarly Huracan is the name of the famous fighting bull meaning Hurricane.
The Huracan uses 5.2 liters V10 engine which produces 610 Metric Horsepower. The Huracan comes with LED illumination. Huracan can be compared to McLaren 650S, Ferrari 458 Speciale and Ferrari 488 GTB. This model also comes with extra options. The ordinary Huracan cost about US$241,945 and the extra option Huracan comes with an extraordinary price of US$320,000. In addition the extra option Huracan comes with improved suspension and interior enhancement. The top speed of Lamborghini Huracan is 341 Km/h (212 mph). The net weight of Lamborghini Huracan is 1422 Kg.
